Hi Nursing Students! My name is Lucinda Fraser-Suarez and I am the Co-President of the Nursing Undergraduate Association for the University of Alberta. I am so excited to have been voted into this role! I have extensive experience surrounding advocacy, specifically within education as well as a public speaking and debate background. In my terms on the NUA, I have prioritized time management, transparency, and communication. As Co-President, I collaborate with the NUA team members, the faculty of nursing, and UASU to create a supportive and equitable university environment where students can thrive. Hey everyone! My name is Renzo Nefulda, and I am honored to be your Co-VP Academic this year. I served last year as the SAC 2nd year representative, and am truly excited to expand my scope of advocacy to the entire undergraduate nursing community. This year, I am leading the NUA’s Peer Tutoring program while collaborating with Catherine to run the SAC; besides my executive responsibilities, I am currently working on a number of other projects to enhance your access and experience around academic and professional opportunities. Outside of the academic environment, you can catch me at Boulders or Niche working on all the slab sets with a sprinkle of overhang. Hi everyone! I’m Haley Puhalski and I am so excited to be your Vice President of Finance for the 2026-2027 term. My main priorities will be renewing FAMF, and increasing financial transparency. I have always been a very numbers oriented person and am very organized, making me a good fit for this role. Outside of school I coach water polo and am currently training for an Ironman.
