Hello! My name is Lisa and I am the representative for the After Degree-2nd year program. Last year, I was the representative for the After Degree- 1st year program on the SAC. I enjoy being a liaison between staff and students within the program and maintaining these channels of communication.I feel this is critical in maintaining an exceptional program for generations of students to come. When I am not studying I enjoy playing board games with my friends and watching medical documentaries on Youtube. I am also in a perpetual state of wanting to go out for Mexican food. Iman Janmohamed
Hello! My name is Iman Janmohamed and I am the Year 4 sequence A rep. I am in my 4th year of nursing and will be doing my preceptorship in the ER during the winter semester! I have been on the SAC since 2018 and I am really excited to be continuing my term so we can help improve our program. This is a great opportunity as students to bring our concerns, ideas, and suggestions to the faculty. Please feel free to reach out whenever you need!

Hello everyone! My name is Helen, I’m currently in my fourth year of the collaborative nursing program and will be one of the representatives of the student advisory council for the 2019-2020 year! I will be pursing rural nursing in Jasper for my upcoming final preceptorship, but as well, have a big interest in working with kids and families. Besides nursing, I love being outdoors and trying new things, recently taking on pottery, snowboarding, and rock climbing! I am excited to be working with the faculty and students in the remaining semester, and am always open to chatting if anyone has any questions or just wants to say hi!

Hyelin Sung
Hey! I’m Hyelin and I am a second-year nursing student. I am a very friendly person and I love helping others to give back to the community. This inspired me to join the SAC! I believe student advocacy is important so everybody can have a voice and make the most of their education. You can most likely find me at the Tim Hortons in the MedSci building, fuelling my addiction to iced coffee. I am interested in pediatric nursing and I am a research trainee. Outside of nursing, I enjoy ice skating (even though I’m not that great at it), painting, and drawing. I am really excited and honoured to be able to advocate for my peers and make your nursing student experience even better!"
